• Account Data: name, phone number, email address, password (encrypted), city, profile photo, role (student/tutor), and profile details.
• Social Login Data: (if you use Google/LinkedIn, etc.): public profile info such as name, email, profile photo, and any info you allow the provider to share.
• Tutor KYC & Payout Data: PAN/Aadhaar or other valid ID, bank account details, address proof, and tax-related details needed for payouts.
• Payment Data: transaction IDs, payment method, billing information, and payment status. We do not store full card or UPI credentials; payments are processed by third‑party gateways.
• Class & Usage Data: course enrollments, attendance, chat/messages, support tickets, ratings/reviews, feedback, and activity logs.
• Device & Log Data: IP address, device identifiers, browser type, app version, cookies, crash logs, and approximate location derived from IP.
• Optional Session Recordings: when a class is recorded with clear notice, we store video/audio/chat to provide replays to enrolled students.

• Students and tutors you interact with, only as needed to run classes.
• Payment and payout partners (e.g., Razorpay or other gateways) to complete transactions.
• Service providers for hosting, analytics, email/SMS notifications, logging, and customer support.
• Law enforcement or regulators if required by law or to protect users and the Platform.

6Tutor Responsibility for Student Data

Tutors may receive limited student data (such as name, contact details, attendance, and messages) strictly to conduct classes. Tutors must:

• Use student data only for teaching and course operations on LiveGuruji.
• Keep student data confidential and secure.
• Not misuse, sell, or share student data outside the Platform.
• Follow all applicable laws.

7Data Retention

We retain data only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy and as required by law. This typically includes:

• Account and course history while your account is active.
• Transaction and payout records for legally required periods.
• Chats and recordings for at least [X months/years], or longer if needed for disputes, safety, or legal reasons.

After retention ends, we delete or anonymize data.

8Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may:

• Access and review your personal data.
• Correct or update inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of data not required by law.

9Children’s Data

The Platform is intended for users 18 years or older. If a learner is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must create and manage the account, provide consent, and supervise payments. We do not knowingly collect children’s data without guardian consent.
